I have this fully running. I have noticed that the account for yahoo and corporate do not work which is fine seeing I can use the yahoo app for my mail. But, I need corporate mail and sync for my work! What can I use for that?
I have not noticed anything else as of yet. I came from a long good run of DarkslideX. Bluetooth seems to be better on this rom.

im trying to move over to vortex from icx. i liked icx, but i guess its not being updated. so ive downloaded the .zip from the forum here, but when i go into recovery and wipe the data, cache, and dalvik, then try to install the .zip, i get an error saying operation aborted(bad)any idea on what is causing this? do i need to sbf before installing the .zip? still kind of new to roms, so im not totally sure how to troubleshoot this yet
Looking forward to trying this ROM out. I'll be updating from rooted gb 605. One question, how do I know if I have "baseband .13p" as recommended??
look in settings, about phone, baseband.

running gingerbread 602 SBF
got to settings/about phone and then look at baseband version (ending #'s should tell you what you have).

My guess is it is a corrupt download. Try redownloading and then install. The other thing you could try is restoring your nandroid from your stock, rooted rom before you flashed ICX (you did do this right?). Then flash VorteX.

In root explorer go into either /system/media/ or /data/local/ to rename your current bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak, then rename the downloaded file to bootanimation.zip and copy or move it to system/media or /data/local/.
Think for vortex its system/media. If I remember the data/local isn't there.
You can also try bootanimation utility from market. Its a hit and miss sometimes but its free.
