Ok, have another. Do I need ROM Manager to install VorteX RC1, or can I use D2 Bootstrap?

I need to restate my last. If you are currently on a rom that you can get into recovery with, then d2 is not needed. Are you on 602 or 605?

He's just did the 2part prerooted 602 so that's what he's on.

Ok, Thanks a bunch everyone!!!! I know the questions may have been a little "dumb", but you know how it is. New ROM, New questions. It's up and running and some of my own questions were answered by all of you, others I found along the way. There's some new features I didn't have before, so there's a few new things to learn. So far, I Like it. Again, thanks for all the help. I also have a big thanks for the Dev. Great work!!

Excellent. Sorry about confusion my end. Totally reliable rom, like dsx. Recalibrate battery and you're good to go. Stellar performance., reliability, and battery life.

Thanks. I like it so far, but I have run into an issue and don't know how to correct it. After the first boot, everything set up fine. I turned WiFi on and started reinstalling apps from the market. My son wanted to see the new boot animation, so I restarted it. Now my WiFi no longer works. In the settings menu where you turn it on it says error and can't be turned on. I'm don't know what app cache to clear or if I should just reflash VorteX. If I reflash, should I wipe everything again? Help!!

Maybe wipe cache only in clockwork. If still no go reflash VorteX no data wipe and that should do it, hopefully.

I had same issue with wifi to start..I wiped cache and dalvik cache and have not had a problem since

Fixed it. Re-flashed VorteX complete with all wipes. Now that WiFi is fixed, I remember reading about a swype keyboard. Anyone know which?
