    Liberty Gingerbread Initial Boot

So earlier today I went ahead and bought the donate version of Liberty Toolbox. I downloaded and installed the v0.5 Gingerbread nightly (the Froyo version). I DID wipe data/cache before installing, but it seems to be stuck on the boot logo. It's been about an hour now, did I brick my phone, or is it supposed to take that long? Thanks

pull the battery and boot into stock recovery (home button + power) once triangle shows up press the search bottom, (use volume to navigate) wipe data and cache in there and you should be good.

I just did that. Does anyone know how long it's supposed to take to initially boot up Liberty Gingerbread? Mine's been on the boot logo for a while...

I ran into the same bootloop with the Liberty Full Install. I booted into recovery as well and wiped cache, etc. No dice. It was still stuck on the fist. I ended up SBFing to stock, installing 588 and going from there.

The insane thing was that when I would try to get into boot loader for SBF the damn yellow fist would just pop up as soon as my battery was in. So I had to pull the battery, cradle it with the last 3 fingers of my right hand, use my right thumb and index finger to push in the camera and vol down buttons and then click the battery into place. LOL!

Generally when you put a new rom on the first time the intial boot takes awhile. I always tend to freak and then it goes a minute later, but an hour seems a bit off. Have you gotten your device running yet OP?

I haven't been able to upgrade to Liberty GB from froyo with anything other than the 0.1 full release. I always have to install that and then upgrade to the latest patch or I am stuck at the boot logo indefinitely.

I thought that I was in a bootloop when installing v5, but it eventually came up. I didn't have the 'ol stopwatch on it, but it appeared to be at least five minutes, no longer than ten.

When I was about to give up and do the battery pull, the phone buzzed me with a little haptic feedback and I knew then it was going to boot successfully. Good luck.

I always do that, I'm looking and staring at it, wishing it to move on and when I'm about to take my back cover off, it always goes.. Lol.
