Yes. Open Calendar, go to the Menu, hit More, hit Calendars, select Contacts Birthdays and..., tap twice until it reads not syncd, not visible. THEN HIT OK AND GO BACK TO THE CALENDAR. Then go to the menu, hit More, hit Calendar, select Contacts Birthdays and.., tap until it shows syncd and visible, HIT OK. Now the birthday you entered for an existing contact should show up as soon as it syncs. If you don't see contacts and birthdays in your calendar as an option, you will have to go to google calendar first and subscribe to it. Also you might have to open your contacts, open menu, click on more, settings, check google. You would think this would be simple, but this is the only way I found to do it. Basically, your syncing your contacts and birthdays with google, then your google contacts sync with your calendar.

Man, I got excited at this for a second. I don't see that option (I'm on Gummy), so it must be a blur thing. Bummer. I miss that function on my BB.

What option are you not seeing? I use jorte as my calendar, awesome replacement in my opinion, and jorte has that option for "contacts birthdays" in the calendar settings.

Doesn't show up on LPP calendar, that I have now. Never seen that option on the stock one, or the rubiX calendars neither.

The reason why your not seeing it in your calendar app, is because you need to "subscribe" to the birthday and anniversary calendar first via google calendar on your pc.

I'm not seeing the birthdays option. I run the stock calendar as my main because it's synced w/ exchange which is my main source of calendar events. I have Jorte becasue it has a nice month widget. Jorte talks to google calendar which seems to talk to exchange via the stock calendar. Anywho, I don't see a birthdays option via the stock calendar. Still fumbling through Jorte settings and dont' see there either.

On jorte....menu, options, settings, choose calendars. After you subscribe to it you will see it here.

To subscribe go to google calendar via a pc.. Goto add calendar --> intresting calendars --> birthdays

I see "choose calendar" under options -> select calendar, but not under options -> settings. Anywho, it's not there yet, but I just subscribed so I'll give it time. Thanks
