It happened before with the channel "fx." It went away for a couple weeks then they worked it out and it came back... don't give up yet. But like I said if they do work out a new deal, check your bills carefully as it probably didn't come cheap.

Glad I'm on a contract with them so my bill can't increase. But I'm dang sure going to call them about pro rating my bill lower since I've just lost 25 channels.

I actually work for DIRECTV. I can't really say anything in regards to the contracts (I value my job) but I'd peak at that link Kahuna posted. There is a definite reason we didn't come to an agreement, and a big part is not wanting to increase our customer's bills. 30 percent is an enormous amount for the same programming.

So what will they do about billing if these channels don't come back? I signed with them 2 months ago for 150+ channels. Now it's only 125+.

I really can't talk anymore about it. I'd call in and speak to a CSR about it. Just be nice on em. I was working today and it was a REAL long day, as you may expect. They do work real hard to make it more bearable, but only so much can be done.

For those missing nickelodeon Netflix had a lot of their shows. My kids don't usually watch live TV anyway.

And I also will certainly try to get my Bill lowered if those channels don't come back. I've never had a problem with DirecTV customer service aside from one bad rep so I wouldn't expect too much trouble. Especially since my contract is up soon and the local cable Co has good deals.
