Droid Notification bar disappeared, how to restore?

I have a droid global and my notification bar just disappeared. Now I don't know when I have texts, when the battery is drained, or any other notification. I've tried turning the phone off and then on. Does anyone know how to restore this bar?

Is it a droid 2 global? If so you can try wiping the cache partition in stock recovery. Just power off the phone. Next press the letter x and hold it then press your power button and hold both buttons in till you see a triangle on the screen. Next press both volume buttons in at the same time and you'll be in stock recovery. Next use your volume button to scroll down to wipe cache partition and select it with your power button. When it's done wiping cache just select reboot system. Not sure if that will help but it won't hurt anything.
