Hello im pretty new to rooting and roms but I feel im good with doing it and I have a friend that wants me to root and flash a custom for her and after doing a few searches I can't really find a good forum to get info on what is a good stable rom and what will work.... She is on gb 2.3.3 any help on where to look would be appreciated. Btw I plan to use super one click to do the root

Thanks I will check them out. The only thing that scares me when I look is they all say kernel in the thread names

There is rooms and kernels there. Its an unlocked device so you can do whatever you want to it. Add different kernel for better battery management all kinds of things. Some roms work best or are accompanied with a custom kernel

So if I flashed a rom with a kernel the process is all the same as I did with vorteX on my dx?
