    I should but the fact that no camera kills me so I will go back today. And this is android 4.0 locked bootloader I know. But its customized to run on this kernel. Than that would mean cm7 ismt cm7?

    For us, cm7 is not really cm7. It was ported to fit the froyo kernal, and eventually will be on gb.

    It's actual cm7. It's the same cyanogenmod used across every device. Since we can't use custom kernels the 2nd init hack allows us to use it with the gingerbread and froyo kernels Motorola package with our device. It's no different if you were to run cyanogen with a custom kernel that mimicked Motorola's.
