[Posting PICs] How to post pics... and the Animated GIF thread

This is a two-fer thread
Here are the basic instructions for uploading pics or screen-shots to the forum (I've seen a need for this)
Once you have the idea, practice by uploading and sharing your funny or interesting Animated GIF here.


To upload a Pic from your PC
1. Click in the post where you want the pic to go
2. Click the "image" button
3. Click "from computer" tab
4. Click the select files button (4a.alternately, go to basic uploader, the basic uploader will only upload 1 file at a time, the other will allow up to 5 at a time)
5. Browse to the pic you want to post, highlight it and click open
6. Click "upload file"
7. Once the Pic uploads, double click it to bring up the image settings window
8. Click the full size button if the pic is less 800 wide, otherwise, pick a size to fit it in the post. If it is too big, you can double-click the pic again and resize it with the image settings window

To post a Pic from the web

1. Click within the post where you want the pic to go
2. Click the "image" button
3. Click "from URL" tab
4. Copy/Paste the URL of the web Pic in the bar that says URL (Leave the box checked)
5. Click OK
6. Once the Pic uploads, double click it to bring up the image settings window
7. Click the full size button if the pic is less 800 wide, otherwise, pick a size to fit it in the post. If it is too big, you can double-click the pic again and resize it with the image settings window
8. Click OK
