I am considering another bike for trips and packing around 2-up I really do like the Triumph Thunderbird but since I ride, alot, I may consider a wing.

Finally done with plastics and an extra 400 miles on it. Now for some pc!
I'm jealous...just got my permit on Saturday. Taking a 15 hour course to get my license starting next Tuesday. Hopefully I can post a pic of my new bike in 2 weeks! I'm looking at a 2007 and a 2009 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 right now. Had a buddy that had a 2006 and I really liked it. Can't wait!

After your Motorcycle Safety Course, I'd recommend "Ride Like a Pro" a dvd put on by a ex-motor cop. His humor is stale and badly timed but the information is priceless and if you practice, practice, practice you will be able to flip uies in about a lane width and gain mastery and confidence you never thought you'd have on a bike.
"Proficient Motorcycling" is also another great book.
