Can you transfer music from an iPod onto a computer?

First off, I just want to say that I am completely aware that this is Droid X website... that's why I posted this in the off-topic section. I just know how many technical geniuses we have on here and figured I could get an answer. Anyways, I have an old iTouch with a massive crack in the screen that caused me to stop using it.. but it has hundreds of songs on it that are just sitting around going to waste. I've tried looking for a program to do this with but they either cost money or don't work. Does anyone know of a way to do this? I'd love to eventually get that music onto my Droid. Thank you!

How to get music off your iPod - destraynor

i tried a program called "iRip"? (something like that) a few years ago and it was SLOW, but worked. i would check out macrumors forums or google "how to rip music from iPod"

Hello Snipples007,Many people were aware of the importance of backing up files when their computer were wiped out. Luckily some of them have their music files on their iPods. But Apple doesn't allow them to transfer music from iPod to computer. It is advisable for us to use a third party program to transfer music from iPod to computer. Here I recommend you to use iPod to computer Transfer. It worked beautiful for me to transfer my favorite songs back to my computer.
