I've never seen that one but it does have a resistive touch screen (older style that you have to actually push to use, so no multi-touch) and it's running 2.1

If you don't want to drop a lot of coin, get a viewsonic gtab or nook color

Garmelin one of the SMods on this forum got one that I'm sure he's eagerly awaiting the arrival of that. He'll post up his thoughts on what he got. I had a look at it online and it looked like a very nice tablet which he got for under $400 shipped. There's alot of Android options out there other than the Xoom, just be sure you research it thoroughly.

A lot of these other tablets can be easily hacked and can run Honeycomb along with other ROMs such as CM7.

Picked it up for $399 shipped. I'll have to let you guys know what its like when it gets here on wednesday. After checking out XDA I will probably load CM7 the day it comes in.

I feel like something that cheap, you might just end up with a giant headache and a sore arse from kicking it....

I finally played with a Xoom today, and I am excited for the WiFi only, for 599, yeah, expensive, but well worth it IMO.

I did some homework looking for a good tablet and after DXers suggestion I went with the gtab. There are quite a few comparisons that pit the gtab and xoom against one another with the gtab holding its own against it. As a bonus the gtab is completely romable, custom kernals and all, with nice dev support and a large community. I won't flat out recommend it yet as i dont have it in my hands, but with what I've read it looks like a great alternative if you don't want to(or have $600 bucks) buy a xoom.

I have heard great things about the GTab as well, a respectable choice. I am sure you will not be disappointed.
