good netbook???

Hey Guys,

So ive had my laptop since sophmore year of highschool....which was about 6-7 years ago (where the heck did all that time go!??!?!?)

I also have a 1st gen 32gb ipod touch....

ive been thinking its time for a new laptop (i have desktop)

soo if I sell my touch a lil cash and just retire my laptop what would you guys recommend for a good laptop and or netbook?

I want something pretty small 8-13 inches that i could hook up to my 42 inch...something with decent RAM, preferably a solid state drive

any ideas?? should i skip the netbook all together and go with something different?

I have 2 laptops - both of which are HP...my recommendation would be for their TouchSmart Notebook - you can use it as a laptop or a tablet...

That is from the HP website - I think you can find something a lower priced...I would still recommend an HP but that is my laptop of choice...
