New Google Chrome 7 - Impressive

Giving it a second chance. I was not impressed with the first few builds but this new one is smoking fast and "stable" so far.

You can download it here and don't forget to Download Chrome to Phone for free from the Android Market.

Been running it for a while. I made a cursory change back to Firefox when the mobile version came out and was disappointed how much slower Firefox was, switched back within an hour or so.

Gotta admit I have been a Firefox fan since the early days and did try out Chrome when it first came out. Wasn't impressed. Well I downloaded the newest version last night and I'll say I am impressed. Very polished and it is pretty damn fast. Wish it had more toolbar editing features though.

Pardon my ignorance but you are talking about the PC browser correct (not smartphone)? I have been using FireFox for years on my laptop but you have both sparked my curiosity about Chrome.

Well I used the Mac version but I assume it is the same.

1password (I used on my phone, Mac, and PC) is not yet fully integrated but they have a plug-in that makes it almost as good as the plug-in for FireFox and Safari.

Haha same thing with me, I was a firefox fiend, downloading all the latest nightly builds trying out all the alphas and betas. And now when I launch firefox 3 seconds ahead of chrome, chrome still wins by a couple of seconds and I don't have any addons on either

I tried it. It is smoking fast but there are things I still prefer to FF. I will play with it some more but the speed difference doesn't make up for what I would lose with FF.
