Thanks all....appreciate the replies. Kev has said he will order the Motorola! YEESS! All we can do is wait and see. But whatever the outcome, I will post back. And I HOPE it will be with POSITIVE results! And yes, ALS is a very debilitating Disease!

Hi all! Just a post to say THANK YOU for everyone that responded to our call for some help. We purchased the MOTOROLA
last week, and now the Chief is wearing it proudly! It is smaller than some cell phones, and he has it pinned under his lapel of his jacket. When he first walked into my house, he pulled out his phone to talk. What I heard made me SMILE so much! Us 'old' firemen have a way of concealing our emotions pretty easily, BUT when I heard what came out of that speaker, and the smile from ear to ear on his face, it actually brought some tears. THANKS AGAIN ALL!
