What's up guys (and gals)?!

I'm semi-new to the whole rooting/rom flashing scene for a little over a half a year now, only have done it with the help of friends and random google searches and youtube videos... nothing too far from sbf flashing and rooting the phone for certain apps. Never tried out ROMs though and definately want to after doing much reading here.

Today I am waiting for my new phone to arrive via USPS do to some problems with a previous phone from insurance and low and behold to make up for it they are sending me a brand new DX2. Problem is, I was doing all the rooting on a DX.

So is there a big difference with rooting the DX2 vs DX?? Really wanted to get into the ROM scene but that'll be a different story if there is a different learning curve with the DX2. Overall I have heard that it is an amazing phone and to my knowledge use the same apps when it comes to the whole hacking game (DX2 Bootstrap, Titanium Backup PRO, Etc.)

From what I have seen on these pages are some AMAZING people and very fast and kind help. I really can't wait to get to know all of you avid users on here and hope to become one that not only recieves help but gives it back. Looking forward to hearing from you guys. The phone should be here within the hour or so, so I shall check back on the forums then once it's up and running!

Right on, just programmed the new phone and wow what a difference. This does NOT look anything like gingerbread on my DX... much crisper and different icons and status bar for the DX2
