First time poster. I have a Droid X that I rooted and put Liberty 2.0.1 on it last year. However it's been rebooting a lot so I wiped it and tried to put Liberty GB 0.7 on it but it's not working. More on that in a more appropriate thread.

Hello World! Just got my first droid & mainly choose the X for the hdmi and hopefully a not too old model. But the price was right. Used to hack TiVos umteen years ago and developed software many umteen years ago. Despite tivo, I'm not too familiar with linux and I guess it's about time I started to.

If someone would be kind enough to point me to some newbie threads or even newbie hack/development threads, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Used to hack TiVos umteen years ago and developed software many umteen years ago. Despite tivo, I'm not too familiar with linux and I guess it's about time I started to.

Congrats on your X. It's an awesome Droid! It's the easiest all touchscreen DROID out of all them. It's a great first Droid/smartphone. Also the X is my all time favorite. I have my X tethered to me 24/7 (not literally!) But my X is special, so it gets special treatment. I happen to be a self taught.DROID.tech which I was.inspired by my X
