Exclamation New To Android? CHECK THiS OUT!

    Hello

Im just putting this together to help out all that are new to the Android OS (what comes on the Droid X). Its hard coming from a non-android phone and trying to just jump right in. So here are a few (well, a lot) of links to get reading on to help you become familiar with the operating system.

Will add more so check back!!

You can skim through and find which article(s) suit you.

NOTE: just because I post it, it does not mean i agree with it. One example is the use of taskillers: some people use them, others (including me) do not. its up to you what you ultimately choose to run on your phone. Im just posting these to help ease into the new OS and get some helpful tips to create a setup that works for you.

EDIT: since two of these are hard to maintain, Im gonna link to this one

which is the one I keep updated. A lot has been added to that one so feel free to check that one out as well

Wish this was here when I got my DX (my first android OS phone) on launch day. Looking back it would've been extremely helpful. For others who's first foray into the android OS os the DX these are all great articles.

Also, have to put my 2 cents in regarding AppKillers...STAY AWAY. The OS is built to stop things not used on its own, it doesn't need another app telling it what to do!

Thank you Abe! Definitely should be a must-read for everyone!

Okay, after owning DroidX two days, purchased CompanionLink Wired, DroidX will NOT sync -- Deja Office cannot see PC in USB Charge Mode, PC Mode, Mass Storage Mode, etc. Had to ask for my money back. I sure hope someone can make a proper non-cloud sync by the 2.2 OS rollout.
