    Why didn't join months ago?

    Hello all! I got my DX on july 15 and have loved every minute of it. I've been very weary to root the phone mostly because of all the talk about bricking it and having to get a new one. The DX is my first android phone and I came from the BB storm so not very big shoes to fill there. I just rooted with the z4root and am currently trying to load the bootstrap but the phone keeps saying load rom failed so i'm still learning and i'm sure i'll have a million questions but its great to be a part of this community.

    Got it working fine and I'm off to a great start. Thanks to all for the info contained on this site, I couldn't have done it without you.
