Disable MIUI Lockscreen

I am running MIUI DEFX 5.12.2012. I have WidgetLocker installed and usually its my only lockscreen but every now and then Ill unlock it only to see the MIUI lockscreen. Is there any way to disable the MIUI lockscreen? Ive seen plenty of threads but they are MIUI v4 specific and the settings are not there in v5. I tried finding a blank lockscreen in the Themes as well.

Also I read once that MagicLocker is a less of a resource (and battery) hog than WidgetLocker. Does anyone have any input on this? Thanks.

PS. Also I installed Go Launcher EX. Its running fine overtop of MIUI but is it possible to disable the MIUI launcher in the interest of saving battery?

Other than disabling the miui lockscreen in options, that's about it, I'm on the same rom and my stock lock only shows up if I get a MLS while screen off. I couldn't stand magic lock, it was horrible IMO, I prefer widget lock myself

Why are you using WL for? There's themes for the miui lockscreen too

Main reason is because of the music controls. In the MIUI the music controls wont start playing music when i press play. I have to go into music, hit shuffle all, and then the music controls will work. With WidgetLocker it saves the position and I dont need to go into Music. On my old MIUI (2.19.2011 I believe) it DID play from previous position. Im not sure why its not working in this newer version. Every now and then it does work but I think only when I previously started and havnt restarted my phone. If not for that I would prefer the MIUI 5 point lockscreen.

Ohh idk about that my music controls work but I'm not using the stock miui lockscreen I'm using one from a theme.

Yeah I saw that and had that checked. It seems to be fine now, must have just been a hiccup awhile ago. Now if I can get the volume controls to ONLY change tracks while locked and NOT try to wake the phone ill be all set.

Have you tried toggling the power wake only mod in the bootmenu/fixes/powerwake only?
