anticipation of this rom is what keeping me from upgrading my phone. i'm eligible for the new 2 year upgrade but also don't want to be forced into selecting one of their tiered data plans and lose unlimited data. has anyone tried to just activate a 4g phone in place of the DX without renewing the Verizon subscription? do you get to keep the unlimited data?

Saw today that Verizon is selling refurbed GNex's for $230 off-contract...I'm considering it to keep my unlimited plan, but I'm just not sure about a refurb...

My wife had a refurbished before it was a great phone, my refurbished sucked and had it replaced but it was a Windows Phone before the dx

I just recently got my DX replaced on insurance. If they sent me a refurb, they did a damn good job of making it look brand new. Either way it runs way better with WizMIUI than my old phone ever did with anything I ever tried.

I've got my new Samsung galaxy s3, but to be honest. I really miss my DroidX... this rom makes my Droid x amazing. If this rom came out for the gs3, I'd overcome my fear of rooting it just to get this rom....

When I try to watch YouTube videos I only hear the audio and I can't see the video, theres just a black screen

Did you try changing the gov and cpu settings in the boot menu? I would start with the gov first, try performance, it should fix it
Edit: is it the YouTube app or online?

Im using the youtube app, and i have changed the settings in bootmenu, im using boostedassv2 and clocked at 1260 at 67vsel. Should i set it to performance when i want to use youtube?

I'm installing app now to see if it works for me. Clocked at 1260,that's too high for my comfort but if your phone doesn't get hot then so be it
Edit: it doesn't even run on my Dx, reading the reviews tells me that the updates for the app have caused more issues than fixes. Performance worked best when I had it. Setcpu may be a good app for you to switch between govs when needed.

and do i need any wifi fixs or patches or battery fixes/ single fixes at all, if so what are they. Thanks
