I didn't expect this much patience and understanding from everyone...must be flashaholics anonymous meetings out there which I'm not aware of lol
Would've given up on my X if not for your rom, and now I've bought a new extended battery n plan to rock her til she croaks. Anyways Gandalf you go kick that dragons tail n we'll see you on the flip side. Just remember middle earth NEEDS you!

Wiz, I'm sure everyone here would rather have you take care of yourself first, MIUI second. I'm sure a lot of phones have lost good devs from people trying to put the phone first and essentially burn themselves out. A lot of people would be very disappointed if that happened for our DXs. So take care of your personal stuff, and in a month, two months, three months, whenever it is, you can release another version that will blow all our minds, I'm sure.![]()
Wanted to say thanks for the great work, and agree with everyone here, enjoy your family and get back to us if/when you canIf this is the last release I will be happy as it will get me to my next upgrade, whenever that may happen.
Question to those in the know. I did a clean sbf using the linux iso recently, just before I left on vacation. Was having random 3g drops where I couldn't get it back without a reboot. Now I have a new issue. When I get a call, and I'm using google maps, I get some strange behavior. The incoming call screen will pop up for like one or two seconds, and then the maps pops back up, then call screen, then maps...... If I let it keep doing this till the call stops, and check call logs, it will show that one call as like 5,6,7 missed calls. Sometimes I can't even answer it or reject it. Doesn't do it for every call, but I think its just when i'm using data. I was thinking about doing a quick reinstall and see if that helps, without sbf'ing again. Has anyone experienced this?
good job Wizard and congratulations 1 more time

Well looks like I'm jumping to the s3. Haven't been posting much lately but thanks for all the help from you guys!
I just don't understand... Every time I try and install this mod I get less than optimal battery.. In addition it says phone idle is taking 30% of my battery. Can anyone help please?
Chances are you have some apps that are creating wake-locks on your phone. Check you apps for sync settings, look at the battery information and see what apps have solid lines, and you can download Cpuspy to see if your device is going into deep sleep.

Okay thanks! I looked at it and I found there are four main processes running that have large solid chunks. Accelerometer meter, Facebook (I just disabled auto sync and background sync so that might help) Android Pro Widgets, and messaging app (its the default messaging app so I found that odd) any ideas on what to do next?
