Id like to update my phone but i dont know where to start.

I suggest getting Wizard's latest GB version and give it a try prior to trying the ICS roms. It's more mature where the ICS roms are still in development. Wipe all including system. You might be able to restore apps from a MIUI backup but I'd verify.

So I should just reboot into recovery, wipe, and install Wizards GB one?

I imagine (meaning I 'assume') the recommended method for going from galnet to wizard's gb build would be full data/cache wipes. I'd also wipe dalvik, battery stats and format system. Then flash away. To totally have a clear conscience you could always just SBF to. 602, re-root then flash. About a 30 minute operation to get to the first MIUI boot.

I have no idea about the cat stuff. Never consciously used it.

To anyone on the same build as me, go into Terminal, type "su" and press enter, then type "cat.jpg" and press enter, then go into ROM Manager and reboot into recovery, then follow the steps for Wizards build.
