I live in mexico, and my DroidX needs a diferent baseband in order to work with 3G. The procedure to install this baseband requiers to be on froyo or stock GB (SBF). Over that we can install any custom rom such as this Wiz MUIU.

Until the last version, we did not had any problems doing this, but as soon as I install 2012.3.23 I lost 3G

Wiz, any ideas of how to fix this?

I asume that if I follow the procedure of SBF-Root-flash baseband- Instal MIUI it will wipe the baseband again. So please help, I do not want to get stuk in the least great version.

For anyone having issues getting BoostedAssV2 running in BootMenu:



BMc renamed his module from what the original tests were called. This means that bootmenu isn't seeing the module as it is named differently. You can either rename the module to be cpufreq_BOOSTEDassV2.ko or just flash this instead - http://dl.dropbox.co...OOSTEDassV2.zip.

I need to recode bootmenu to dynamically pull the list of available governors instead of having a statically defined list, but that probably isn't happening tonight.

Is it a different baseband or different APNs? For the baseband itself, MIUI doesn't touch that. An SBF does unless you run the SBF in linux, then it leaves the radio alone. Just to make sure we're talking about the same thing, what does your phone say the radio version is when you are stock after flashing the baseband you need and what does it say the version is now?

Not this one! Just the CM roms need it (AFAIK).

Thank you Wiz for your answer. Everything is working fine now. It seems the carrier had some technical issues and I panic.
I also wipe data/cache. After which I restore a backup and my phone got into a restart loop. Then I wipe data again and restore only what I needed.

I love this rom, you keep impressing me.
