Wifi issues

haveing the same problem and it is pissing me off because 3g makes my phone too hot, im on the latest 04.05.2012, i have even wiped my router

I used a .605 sbf, rerooted, reflashed and I don't have wifi issues anymore. Beforehand I was using a .602, not sure why that was causing it but oh well.

Before you do that though, boot into boot menu and under fixes there should be a nvs_wifi option, or something like that, select and run that first!

Buttom Line...it might not be your Wifi with Issues...Its very possible its your Router...Why?

Reading all these Post about Wifi with All the positive and the Issues I could never get my Wifi to work...After reading an Entourage of Post and All the Issues I found mine to be

"The Router"...
My Router is only 2 years old but with New Phones changes and OS System changes is your Router keeping up with the changes...

Now,
I have 2 Phones...Droid X and the I-phone....Shhhhhh...Speaking with a lot of the Guru Tech out there were finding that the Routers are Not keeping up with the changes...

Most of the Newer Routers can handle the following on Wifi:
I-Pads
Phones
Printers
Computers
Etc....

So after several Weeks...enough reading....being totally Frustrated not being able to use Wifi and tried EVERYTHING known to Man...I stepped out of the Box to challange the Tech's to their words...

So, I purchased (My Choice) a Cisco Linksys E2000 Router...Apple wanted me to buy a $300 Router to support the I-Phone...Naaaaaaaa...

This Guy was Snapping his Carrot to much...So, Set-up in my Desktop as the Hub or Source of Origin...and guess what happen...Touchdown...

Everything is working...
So for All of you that may think your Router is Ok...do a little research to see if your Router can still support All your Devices...you may find many surprizes..

Again, its was my experience...Week 3 No Issues...other then me screwing up when flashing New ROM's...Hey, I love it and I am a Sick Individual anyways....
