This is for the DROID X on the GINGERBREAD KERNEL.


This is MIUI 1.10.7, created from MIUI.us Defy Base merged with DX essential.


What's new?
-All 1.10.7 changes implemented: http://miui.us/forums/content.php?129-1.10.8
-New base built from Defy (this is new ground, beware...)
-Modded custom bootmenu. Press vol down when the blue light comes on at boot. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
-Extended Settings built in
-FM radio added
-All previous fixes/mods implemented
-Corrected sysinit process to account for 2nd-init, init.d scripts are now applied
-Cleaned init.d scripts, build.prop duplications, logwrapper duplications
-Updated busybox, libraries, bins, 2nd-init process
-All media from past versions combined and available
-Cat.jpg has finally been fixed.
-Market now shows 100% of available apps.
-Probably some stuff fixed naturally, I haven't been on it long


PLEASE NOTE: Due to the custom bootmenu, you will not be able to get to CWM recovery through ROM Manager. The reboot menu's CWM recovery option will work perfectly though. Also, in the custom bootmenu, 2nd-boot mode doesn't work yet, but I plan to give you a boot manager type option with it, where you can swap ROMs.

How to reenable rom manager for the current session only:
In Terminal Emulator (free from the market), type:

su
cat.jpg

Then you can use Rom Manager normally and it will work until your next reboot into MIUI.


Installation Instructions:
1) Do an SBF to .602, root, get to clockwork recovery.
2) Wipe data.
3) Flash rom.
4) Re-enable root permissions in the superuser app.
5) Do not restore backups made before this version.
6) True story: I SBF'd 47 times while creating this version. I kept track.

Just to be sure DXC, you have to SBF to 602 to flash this regardless of what you're on now? Even if you're on 1.9.30?

Wow I just freaking flashed 1.9.30 like 10min ago and got my phone set to how I like it. So now your saying I have to SBF to .602 then re-root and flash new 1.10.7 and start all over. Please tell me there is a easier way.

just for the hell of it, i flashed with just clearing cache and it updated perfectly. even though it seems to have worked without SBF, should i go ahead and do it anyway? just seems too good to be true. haha

if you're brave enough, try flashing right on top of .30 and tell us how it goes. you must wipe data though, that is a must... otherwise u will get FC here and there
