I flashed MIUI yesterday, now whenever I try to open my media player (I have tried both the stock one and WinAmp) or try to use gallery to view my pictures I get the message: The process android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Force close or Report.
I also get this message when I'm not trying to play music. Any suggestions as to a solution for this issue?
Had this same problem with my fascinate the only thing that fixed it was a data wipe and an sd card wipe.
Tapped on my Eclipse DROID x2
Go to settings/applications/manage applications/"all" tab... And clear data for "media storage"

Just wanted to say thanks. This fixed my music player issues! Gallery seems to be better too. I was getting random FCs in Gallery.
