Alltel Milestone X on Page Plus?

I have an Alltel Milestone X on Page Plus. Voice and SMS work, but MMS and Data do not. I am wondering if I SBF the Milestone to a Droid X on Verizon would cure my issues. I have been reading post after post and have not come up with a real answer to this. I am worried that when the sbf overwrites my baseband that my phone will not work at all. This is my confusion...when the baseband is overwriten, does it deem the raidio useless, or just make it talk to a differant carrier (in my case Verizon). If this is the case, it should work????

Update:

Ok, I tried Verizon 605 with RSD lite and the phone would not boot, sbf'ed back to Alltel 605 and then tried using the Linux method with the Verizon 605 file and the phone would still not boot...so I am in the processes of going back to Alltel 605.

Any other suggestions on getting this thing working on Page Plus?

I ended up flashing my MX with the DX 621 sbf. Every thing is functional on PP.

having same problem, please expand on solution. did you flash or sbf the .621? Root?

That would be an sbf. The sbf files aren't "flashed" like a rom in clockwork recovery.

try'd to flash the zip w/ rom manager but had no luck??

I've had 2 of these Droid X's that I have used the milestone ez method to root and everything works but MMS, they recive but wont send

I downloaded the file you pointed at and tried to use it in DS Lite but it's not a supported file: it's a zip of a file tree... how do I use it? Thanks!

If you're trying to use an Alltel file with RSD Lite use one of these https://sites.google.com/site/motosbf/milestone-x-sbf-files

If it is a zip, you need to unzip it first.
