. 621 question

I don't have the. 621 update.. Yet. Not sure if I will on the Milestone X with the carrier I have. But.

I am rooted and running stock. What happens if they push the update to my phone? I have noticed updates being pushed without being asked if I wanted them or not. For instance I am now running 2.3.5 and last time I looked it was 2.3.3.

Will I loose root? What if anything would be effected? I don't know if this will ever be a problem but was just wondering what, if anything, would be changed.

You should always be prompted to install the update. It may download without your consent, but you should be able to reject the install. You will likely lose root but that's about it.

I just knew I had been updated from 2.3.3 to 2.3.5 without being prompted. I also didn't know what the. 621 would do.
