Which ROM to choose?
I have a Milestone X, rooted and nandroid backup done. I understand that since I'm not a Verizon subscriber, I may have to follow instructions here for CM4DX or MIUI.
First, are either of these ROMs perfectly stable? Do either allow full functionality of my phone (camera, camcorder, etc.)?
I would love to flash a custom ROM, but only if it is tested as stable. Also, which -stable- ROMs are available for the Milestone X (Droid X)?
Phone specs:
Milestone X (nTelos)
System version: 4.5.604.MB809.ACG-nTelos.en.US
Android version: GB 2.3.5
Kernel version: 2.6.32.9-geadffa3mcbk83@il93lnxdroid08#1
Build number: 4.5.1_57_MX2-34

Anyone? Also, is it possible to flash custom themes without flashing a ROM?

There are deodexed versions of the stock rom. Mobile sensei has that along with some nice themes for it. Also if you flash the deodexed version then you can use ninjamorph to change any specific part ( e.g. battery icons, statusbar background, etc) how that applies to the milestone, well I'm unsure.

I dont really know which ROM to choose either. I tried doing the shadow version and ended up having to sbf to fix the issues. I thought that I had bricked it. If you find out anything let me know. Thanks!! glad to see a fellow ntelos'r!!

Take vortex for a spin....very stable and nice. Not that there's anything wrong with the others, but so far I've only tried vortex and liberty.

from what I saw in the vortex forums, they dont suggest using it on the X yet.

If you don't mind me asking what carrier are you with and where did you get the sbf?
