i was wondering if anyone knows how to backup a sbf file before i root. i havent found a sbf file that will work and i bricked my device luckly my dad has the unrooted verison of my phone

I think you are mixing up terms. SBF refers to a file type. This is used from going to one "operating system" to another or bringing your phone back from a soft brick. Are you asking if there is a way to back up your phone in the state that it's in now?
i need an sbf file for element mobile milestone x Altells flashed onto my phone but does work rite my dad has an unrooted version of mine i need to unflash his sbf to reflash mine how would i do this

As far as I know there is no software to do what you are asking. You are going to have to find a sbf file that works with your carrier and use RSD Lite to flash it.

Yea and as of right now altels is the only one but no data without wifi and cant *228 update so i wish there was a program to extract or back up his firmware
