    Read a couple pages, and didn't see an answer, but was going to suggest if you still are looking for an alarm clock, try Alarm Clock Plus. It immediately replaced the stock alarm clock!

    If you want the stock alarm back, I believe you can install it from http://www.hawkeye411.com/droidx/systemapp.zip (just look for the alarm clock apk... credit goes to a member of the droidforums.net for this, thread here:
