thank you. appreciate the help. it's funny, cause I had already set that to 5 minutes, and it still wasn't working. So I thought there was another setting I had to adjust. but now, I just set it to 1 minute and now it's working.

Battery life was pretty good for me. Is their any apps in the background eating away at your battery like fb or maps?

I'm running miui ics 2.6.29 on my DX. I'm not sure if i has a gingerbread kernel or not. Could i just do a , wipe , data reset , and flash for this rom ? Or would that brick my phone if it has a ics kernel ? thanks

If you're running an ICS ROM you are on the GB kernel. There is no ICS kernel on the X. So yes, just wipe data and cache and flash the ROM and Gapps.

I just installed Liquid today on my Droid X. So far so good, everthing seems to work and I haven't experienced any strange issues. I did do a clean wipe/reset and I have a brand new Class 10 32GB Mini-SDHC card, the original Droid X 16GB card is having a lot of problems.

I also have the same question, where is the original "navigation" app that used to be on the phone originally and can it be downloaded anywhere?

Search for Google Maps in Play Store. Most AOSP-based ROMs don't have Maps built into the Google apps package.
