    Depending on your system version you can use the ISO's from this thread: Linux solution to your Windows/RSD lite problems (instructions are listed there.)

    Or you could just download sbf_flash and the file you need from here: https://sites.google.com/site/motosbf/droid-x-sbf-files

    Instructions: Type in the correct sbf file name if you are using a different one.

    1. Make a new directory and download the above files to that directory
    2. Unzip the SBF file into the same folder
    3. Open the folder and keep it open
    4. Open Terminal and change to the folder you created. Easy way to do this is to type CD in terminal, then click and drag the folder to the terminal window and release. Press the enter key.
    5. Next type sh sbf_flash.sh click and drag the SBF file to the terminal window and release. Press the enter key.
    6. Let it run for a bit. There will be a bunch of stuff passing by on the screen. It will eventually say rebooting and return you to a terminal prompt.

    For those of you who are completely new to all this, let me clarify a few things:

    1. when he says make a new directory, he means create a folder (i just called mine droidx) and put the two files in it and remember where the folder is on your mac.

    2. double click the zip file and trash it when it finishes unzipping. now you should have 2 files in your new folder you created: 602.sbf (or whichever sbf you downloaded) and sbf_flash.sh

    3. by "open the folder" he just means keep the finder window in the background so u can easily drag and drop files into the terminal window

    4. just like he said.

    5. here is where the directions aren't clear. it wont work unless you enter a space in between "sh sbf_flash.sh" and "/Users/Pauly/droidx/602.sbf"

    so this works: "sh sbf_flash.sh /Users/Pauly/droidx/602.sbf"

    this doesnt: "sh sbf_flash.sh/Users/Pauly/droidx/602.sbf"

    6. like he said. it takes a while. u should see stuff like this if u did it right:

    === 602.sbf ===
