Help changing roms
Hey guys I am currently running encounterics and now I want to change to another rom. This was my first time. I didn't make a nandroid and now I'm not sure how to switch to another rom. I would like to try liquid smooth or liberty. Do I just wipe data then flash the new rom?

You can switch to another and should be fine... But with the different boot menu that it has... It's best to sbf so you start from a clean slate

So just wipe and install the new rom? I don't mind the boot loader.

Ya... You should be able to*
But with some of the differences in the boot menu... It could lead to a boot loop...

Yeah what Nemo said, you should be fine just by wipe data/cache/dalvik , and then flashing the rom....the thing with either restoring a nandroid of stock or sbf prior, is that it will give you a clean install, and can save problems if there be any...
Thanks Nemo

The best/easiest way is to follow the sbf or linux methods in mine or Nemo's sig-nature....there's a video guide in that thread, along with step by step instructions...Long story short, you'll download the .602 ISO from 1KDS, burn the iso to a disc, or flash, with Imgburner, and well thats pretty much it....( oh and the newest one he just put out, has both root methods built in, so after sbf, you can root too if you want all in one session) pretty slick!
