Help changing roms

Ok gotcha. So if it bootloops do I just restore the nandroid I make for the rom I'm on?

if it bootloops... you probably wont be able to get into factory recovery... so from there you'd just sbf reroot then flash the rom you wanna go to

Thanks hopefully it doesn't bootloop. Encounterics is awesome but I need my camera and voice input not to mention flash

I bootlooped coming off encounter ics. I did all my wipes too. I did the sbf and all is well!

I have flashed back and forth between Encounter and CM7 with no issues. Only time I've had to sbf lately has been because of a bad build of CM7.

I had a similar dilemma. .... Last Night I ended up going with the SBF method (using USB). It worked great, just follow instructions closely. .... Got me back to stock gingerbread, then i rooted. Now, the sky is the limit. Good Luck.
