Root and unroot 2.2 OTA for a new person ... Oneclick root and unroot?

Ok, I got a droid x yesterday and love it, I use to have an android phone where I could simply root or unroot using androot. I loved this app and was wondering if I could do the something on the x.

Note I'm VERY stupid so the easiest and best explained method is what I'm hoping for.
Also all I mainly want root for is wifi tethering and other similar apps not ROM instalation.

I used a program called RootMYX2 just google it. This is an one click method with root and unroot options but the unroot does not work for me had to do that through terminal emulator. I am on windows 7 64bit. After reading some other post this program is a hit or miss with people may be operating system, drivers don't know but it is worth a try.
