    Angry Help! Stuck on Liberty Boot Screen

    I recently rooted my Droid x. Installed superuser, bootstrap, liberty tool box titanium backup. I backed up my system w/TB. I downloaded the liberty 2.0.1 rom to my pc and transferred to the sd card. Rebooted in bootstrap recovery. Wiped data/cache, and installed the Liberty rom from the sd card. everything went fine up to that point. The phone rebooted to the Liberty boot screen and just sticks. Left the phone alone for about 20-30 minutes and still stuck. Tried do and a backup restore with TB but phone says no back up found. I ended up using RSD Lite to get the stock system back with the 602.sbf . Tried everything over again. Same thing happens. I don't know if I'm skipping a step somewhere or if I'm just doing it wrong. Phone is still stuck on boot. I did update the phone after the reinstall. Is that what i did wrong?

    Liberty 2.0.1 is a froyo rom and you are probably gingerbread. Go to the gingerbread rom section and get liberty 3 2.0 from there. Sbf back to 602, root with Pete's root tools, boot into clockwork and try your liberty 3 2.0 flash.

    Liberty 2.0.1 is meant for 340 on the froyo kernel... And 602 is gingerbread... You want to get liberty 3 v2... is the latest I believe

    No worries carrion, just always remember that the best favor you can do yourself is to make sure you read through the installation instructions throughly. They will always have information on the required system version, and other important info you prevent you from ending up here.

    Its all a learning experience, so just take it as such and you'll be sailing happy in the future.
