ROMs?

I'm another noob at this rooting thing with questions. I see all you folks talking about using all these different roms. I'm interested in Vortex, but I can't find any roms to download. I'm running CM and the only reason I have that going is that it was in rom manager. What's a good way to find all the different roms out there?

There are entire sections dedicated to different roms for whatever version of android you're running (froyo or gingerbread). Click the "Forums" button then scroll down to Gingerbread Discussions, Development or Droid X Discussions, Development, Droid X ROMs for Froyo

Thank you as well. But I've come up with another question already. When I see 602 or 605 being used in requirements/descriptions/instructions, I assume it has something to do with the kernel version?

no... that's the system version... it's under settings/aboutphone/
your should say something like... 4.5.605

Now that I've been using Cyanogen mod7 for a while I want to go back to rooted stock, but see no option for factory reset. How do I go about going stock again?

If you want you can freeze the. 621 updater with TB so it wont bug you to update. But I don't know how to do that lol hopefully so one else knows how to do that and can help you out
