toolbox app question
ok so i recently rooted again and purchased the jrummy toolbox app and i have a few questions. i am wondering about the rom's in the app and can i really use this app to switch them on the fly from my phone? still kinda green on the flashing of rom's and how to do it but i think i'm ready. my other question is about what apps i need to backup, is it all the ones i've downloaded or is it all the ones i want to keep.
any input on how to properly use this app would be greatly appreciated. ohh my app im using for backups is ultimate backup by jrummy also and i also have 2 nandroid backups already made.

ROM toolbox gives you most of the ROMs to download, so it just provides a source. You'll then use Bootstrap Recovery to flash the ROMs. As far as backing up apps, Titanium Backup is one I'd recommend. Also Jrummy has Ultimate Backup which is similar.
on the move..

Thanks for the info. I've been playing with the jrummy toolbox and the roms and rom manager in that app. I was able to successfully install liberty last night but forgot to backup my contacts. I am using ultimate backup to backup apps but I'm not really sure what apps are critical. I'm also using Verizon's backup assistant for my contacts but most of the roms remove that app. What does everyone use to backup contacts.

Contacts should be synced to your Google account, or I believe you can go to Verizon's website and sign into Backup Assistant and export your contacts as a .csv file, then copy it to your SD card and import them through the contacts app.

Well I restored from a backup then backedup contacts and reinstalled liberty. So far so good with getting my contacts back. Thank you all for the help.

What version of liberty are you running...

Liberty 3 I think. It was the most recent liberty build in the toolbox.

Ok new question. Do I need the super user app when I have D2 bootstrap and jrummys toolbox app. The super user app seems to be conflicting with the toolbox app.

Yes, superuser is a type of gateway/ manager app it shouldn't conflict with any root app as long as you give the root app permissions in the superuser popup (and without superuser app installed you don't have root access)
What is it doing exactly

If you think you have bricked your phone... do this.... stop look around say a few curse words then take a deep breath because you haven't

we can fix this haha

When I'm installing icons for my status bar I get a force close pop up but it goes away by itself. It says something about the super user in it. I also installed the super user updater app.
