Signing in to your Google account on CyanogenMod 7

Hi,
Recently, I installed this: [ROM][BETA] CyanogenMod 7 for the Droid X
It works fine, for the most part. However, I forgot to install the Google Apps. I thought that it would be as simple as downloading the apps through other means, but when I try to open market, it says this:

"You must add an account to the device to continue. Do you want to add one now?

Yes | No"

The point of the message was obvious; however, when I click "Yes"...
...nothing. Nothing happens but being sent back to the launcher, or last app I used before Market.
The same thing happens to Google+ and Gmail.

Do you have any ideas on how to fix this, and can you help me?

Any tips would be much appreciated.

I can't set up a Google account to my device in order to use Google Apps after installing CM7. What do?

You'll need to go into rom manager and download the gapps file then flash in clock work then when you boot up it will walk you through it

Simply find the gapps zip and flash it in clockwork

As memo stated, download gapps from ROM manager or from the threads on here and flash in clockwork.
