How to sync work email and work wont let you

We use outlook web access for email.. You need to be approved by corp to access it from home I guess.. They give you a code of some sort (dont know if its a domain thing, ip, etc). Any of you know a work around to sync my phone up? I am rooted.

Just a piece of advice - any kind of 'hack' to access your corporate email w/o IT approval will expose you to immediate termination if/when they find out about it. Internal emails are very closely guarded material in most corporations, and syncing it out unsecured to your mobile phone, which could be stolen or lost quite easily with no recourse, is a major security issue.
Besides, I imagine that your company doesn't pay you enough to check your work email off the clock anyway. Mine doesn't.

I do.. but like dbutters said its probably not worth it.. and I would feel guilty if I provided you tricks that got you fired.

The best thing you could do is talk to your supervisor/boss and ask for email access outside of work... I'm sure they would be happy to help you think about work during your off hours.

If you really need a way of doing this for some reason.. I suppose I could help you.. but I would assume no personal responsibility or legal liability for your actions/implementation of the methods I would share with you.

Please think about it some more before asking me. It's really not advised.

Well thanks for your help everyone... Im wanted to sync it with work, but the email im waiting for is personal. (updates for my ht receiver). So if you want to teach me how, great. If not, I understand. Once I get my receiver back I will undo it.

Bro.. I will not let you loose your job over an hd reciever. Please don't google a solution...

If you bought something online you can update your contact information with the supplier and provide them a personal email address. Or you can wait to go to work... if your company uses microsoft exchange servers.. you could make a rule to foward messages to your personal email that come in from a particular sender.

Or you can be honest and tell your supervisor your dilemma. I accidentally used my work email for this product.. what can I do.

There are so many alternative ways this can be dealt with.
