    for rom installs i have seen it written both ways and wondering about the difference

    on clockwork reboot screen:
    wipe data/factory reset
    wipe cache partition

    on mounts screen:
    format data
    format cache

    i used both of the wipe entries to install gj2.5 and no issues so far
    is there a difference?

    Eh, I prefer to go to mounts and format there. I've always done that and never had a problem. Personal choice I suppose.

    May I suggest another one.. on when you should make nandroid backups.. and the answer would be Right now! All the time! Before you do anything major! After you do something major!

    Also.. one on good flashing practice.. like flash things one at a time.
