Netflix?

I'm running gummy 4.0.4, and i try to watch netflix but it only play audio, no visual. It worked when i was on stock 2.3.4 but now it won't. Any ideas?

Netflix will not work on ICS ROM's. Hardware Acceleration is constantly being worked on and hopefully we will have Netflix working soon.

I had a thought... (scarey in itself! lol) I am now on the Cyanogen ICS... can I back up, flash a prior ROM that Netflix was working on and use ROM Mgr to go between when I want to use Netflix... at least until it is able to work in any of the ICS ROMS?

If so which ROM would you reccomend that is easy to flash? Prior to this last update to Cyanogen ICS my Droid X was on GB.

If you want to do that I'd look into the boot manager app. It runs ROMs off "slots" on your SD card and all it takes to switch between is a reboot. You could use the Cyanogen ICS as your phone (main) rom. Then have something like liberty or vortex to watch netflix, etc. I think they have a lite (read free) version that gives you one slot. Probably all you would need.

What you described is kind of the right idea. You would actually want to have CWM backups of your main rom and another GB rom and use CWM to go between. But then you have to backup every time you want to use netflix which means you waste 10 minutes to get to watch netflix and another 10 to get back to your main rom.

It was a thought... not sure I really want to do all that... may just go back to a ROM that can use Netflix. Any idea how far they are from finding a work for it on ICS? Thnaks you to all use work or, help answer questions and everything else! So amazing. I will never have another type of phone other than Android and continue to donate to wonderful devs!!! LOVE IT
