Okay ran into my first problem I have tried all the launcher s apex, nova, and touch wiz . None of them will set my lock screen wallpaper. Any idea's?

What do you mean by set wallpaper? I usually set my wallpaper through settings and set both wallpaper and lockscreen.

Ya I tried that and in all launchers. I am trying again . I am signing into work brb

Ok so I have tried all the ways ...from Settings, from insidequick pic etc...
I can not set lockscreen wallpaper. I am looking into it further. I am checking PowerAmp to uncheck ics lockscreen.

Hey Matt will doing a factory reset cause me to lose root? I think so no? Maybe not.lol

EDIT;
Ok so it's the resolution of my image that I am trying to use and or its the size. I just tried it with a live wall and it works. This after a delv/cache wipe. But that I don't think has anything to do with it.

Now ripple effect is shaded and I have the circle with the lock that unlaches.lol

Go to Settings/Security/Lockscreen Options and make sure Ripple Effect is checked/unchecked based on what you want. I think factory reset through Settings will lose root but I think wipe data/format in CWM will not (but I am not sure). This does sound like a good time to try out Synergy!!

Just flash CWM 6.0.1.0 from EX Recovery app, then Wipe system/cache/dalvik and flash the rom!! So far I like it with Imoseyon's latest kernel. I sent you the links in a PM this morning.

Ya idk something happened. I prob did something stupid..lol anyway I did a factory restore because the backup I made with ex recovery was no good. I don't remember what the error said when I made it, but it was one more then the normal "no /exit found" you know that one.hahaha
anyway lost root so guess what I'll be doing tonight.
I forgot all about the Samsung release vwz ota and didn't put it on my phone other wise I would have flashed that. You know me always rushing into things.lol it's all good. At least I am getting lots of experience..haha

Ok ok...

I did it but still can't change my lockscreen wall and I still can send an image on here.haha. I think I screwed up again but it's not the Rom the way I rooted although when I factory reset. It all works. Happen when I was having a market issue and used doctor in TiBu..hmmm IDK. But this seems to always happen to me.haha I 'll get it nailed down sooner or later.
EDIT : Oh well had to use the mac..lol

Edit: Maybe this time I should flash the Samsung vwz image then start over from there.
