i had flashed liberty 3 v2 but did not flash any of the additional zip's included in the OP(ex: wifi fix). System Version says i am on .605, so you're saying i can now flash other roms from now on?

Prior to loading Liberty i wanted to load CM7 but it gave me an error during the initial flash.

You mean it shows .604 on system version? That's what it should be after the Milestone SBF.

If you flashed CM7 officials it wouldn't work because its for Froyo. If you want CM7 you need this one.

i gave the phone back to my friend, he tried to activate it doing *228 (as it was off service) but he is having issues getting it to activate. I called VZ and got his ESN manually switched and activated but he still has problems. I loaded CM7 on it, "dialing *228 then 1 ...... the number or code you dialed is incorrect check the number and dial again" sounds to me like this has something to do with the Milestone sbf that was used to root the phone (.621) what should i do? :/

What's baseband version under about phone? Also have you tried *228+ ?

I did everything in order.only 604 to621 and wifi didn't work.what could I have done wrong.thanks in advanceSorryI posted this in a different placebut anyway I did the Droid x to milestone x.then liberty and 604 to 621 then wifi fix.I am rooted but still 604 and wifi don't work.please help

How did you perform the .604 Milestone SBF? RSD Lite by chance? Looking at that screen you have the wrong baseband.

i did use rsd lite

edit: i flashed back to .621 and i will root the linux method. will let you guys how it turns out. thanks for the help

got done flashing about 20 mins ago, everything went well...the phone can now dial *228 & 611 and is still rooted on cm7. Thanks again
