I used his universal zip v6.1.3 on stock rooted deodexed gingerbread and my phone ran smoothly. I got the zip from his imoseyon blog. I just flashed rubix blurry bread so am not using it now because Drod2169 has incorporated his own tweaks so I will see in the next few days which functions best for me. The rom is pretty much just init d support and internal tweaks that Drod made there are no visual changes, and I have to tell you my free memory runs much lower on the rom so I'm a bit anxious, but Drod usually know what he's doing. In terms of making your own tweaks you can probably just make changes using root explorer read/write text editor. In Rubix the systctl.conf is in etc, its probably the same in stock.

Also you can tweak the parameters using jrummy's overclock app. Look in the settings, advanced.

Thanks for the reply. I am also on blurrybread, sorry I forgot to mention that.

I tried to open the file w/the text editor in root explorer however, when it opens it is just a bunch of weird symbols. I assumed that the file was too large for the txt editor, which is why I was trying to alter it on my laptop. However, the txt editor program I have does the same thing that the phone does. Is there a program you might recommend for me?

You need to open sysctl.conf not sysctl. Sysctl is a binary file the .conf is a text file.
