    .621 Update Fails

My DX has stock .605, rooted with Petes Motorola Root Tools v1.07. When I try to install the .621 update, it starts then fails about a third into update process. Reboots, then says that the update failed. I have tried to unroot and install the update, with no luck. Any thoughts on what would cause the update to fail? Anywhere I can see the logs from the attempted update?

    Thanks

,you do know that you can not root once you take 621 unless you use root keeper app and once on 621 there is no way to sbf to another version right.... with that said have you tried to take the update in wifi?

I am aware of the root issue with the update. I have not tried the wifi, but I did find the necessary files in order to do it manually from the recovery. When I run it, I get this error:
    Finding update package...
    Opening update package...
    Verifying update package...
    Installing update...
    Verifying current systems...

.621 OTA is known to have issues with various systems. Are you rooted or were you rooted and did you modify any files in /system? If so that is causing the issues.

If you're real hard-up for .621 you can SBF it via RSD Lite. Keep in mind though to get root back is fairly convoluted if you want it, and you can't revert (.602/.605/.340 [Froyo]) Once there you're stuck.

    Thank You, Goose.

I am rooted, and of have Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper installed and backed up. From what I understand, Rootkeeper makes rerooting fairly simple.

I don't recall deleting any aps; I freeze them instead, and unfroze them pryor to attempting the update.

Considering the off chance that I may have deleted an ap by mistake, I'm looking for a simplified list of stock .605 aps.

I'll share my success once I figure out how to obtain it.
