Is the YouTube app not working? Whenever I click play on app, it gives me this message: "connection to server lost. Touch to retry." Ideas what's causing this. The regular full YouTube site works fine on phone.

Still down. Reinstall YouTube app, rebooted phone...still same message.

Have you tried clearing data / cache in settings / apps for YouTube even though you uninstalled it? My YouTube app works fine

Did all that...still down. Went to YouTube.com in regular browser now video won't play...weird. my DSL modem is down and ATT is coming tomorrow to fix it. Any relation?

Only if you're using wifi. Toggle airplane mode or reboot your phone. If that doesn't work try wiping your entire phone cache on recovery
