Simple rom for my wife? Suggestions?

Understood if MIUI would be too drastic. I'd probably recommend VorteX as well for something as close to stock and fully functioning.

Vortex rc1 has been awesome for me. I would recommend it to anybody. If it were my wife I would flash vortex rc1 and then flash wulfs violet vixen theme or ICS theme (any of them imo) to get rid of the watermarked icons. She doesn't like them.

Vortex RC1 for me is problem free. I have been running it for a while now and must say this is what should have been on the phone out of the box. But that's just my opinion ,it's a great ROM tho

I may catch a little flack for this but oh well I've been running miui for quite some time. Ever since Framework43 was porting it to the X. Personally, I love the rom even though it has some bugs. But..... if I were to set someone up with a nice stable rom that has no bugs I'd say SBF back to froyo and flash liberty 2.0.1... I cut my teeth on that rom and it treated me very well. Loved it and was never buggy...

Def gonna go with liberty 3 v2 or vortex rc1. Ran both for awhile with no glitches or fc.

If I had to describe MIUI on mine now from simply a users perspective these latest builds have been pretty darn glitchless for me. The rom includes so many things that eliminate the need for other apps. Pop up SMS, toggles in notification that long press into their respective settings. Even the intuitive dialer options available like contacts or notes while on a call.

Vortex gets my next vote for a rom more "stock". Liberty 3rd. Actually I ran great on ApeX typically. Awesome rom.

couldn't get MIUI to recognize artist in any of my MP3s. It was annoying enough for me to bail. I didn't google the issue though. There might have been something I overlooked
